A wonderful few days spent deepening my understanding of Restorative Yoga taking part in a Level 2 Restorative Yoga Teacher Training with Anna Ashby ✨

Very grateful to our wonderful teachers, Anna and Chris, for sharing their knowledge, experience and insights, and to the lovely teachers I got to meet and share the experience with.

Looking forward to continuing the learning and sharing some of it with my students ✨🙏

Restorative Yoga: Going Deeper
Sunday 14th June
3-5pm
Emily Tarrant

Restorative Yoga: Going Deeper is a nourishing 2-hour workshop designed to offer space for profound rest, release and stillness.

Together we’ll explore longer-held restorative postures, deeper support, and a selection of new restorative shapes and prop set-ups to gently open the body and settle the nervous system.

Restorative yoga is a deeply supportive practice that uses props such as bolsters, blankets, chairs and blocks to allow the body to fully relax in restful postures, encouraging healing, regulation and ease.

This extended practice invites you to slow down, soften and rest more deeply, with time to settle into each posture and experience the quieter, more meditative aspects of restorative yoga.

Some previous experience of restorative yoga is desirable, though not essential.

Spaces have been reduced for this session to ensure plenty of space for each student and ample access to props.

What keeps you rolling out your yoga mat time and time again?

A regular yoga practice is about so much more than improving flexibility. It’s about creating space to breathe when life feels busy. It’s about learning to listen to, and work with, your body. It’s about building strength, balance, resilience, and calm - both on and off the mat.

Over time, yoga can help to:
✨ Develop your ability to manage stress and anxiety
✨ Improve strength and mobility in the body
✨ Support better sleep
✨ Increase energy and focus
✨ Ease tension held in the body
✨ Create a deeper sense of connection with yourself, other people, and the world around you

You don’t need to be flexible. You don’t need to be ‘good’ at it. You simply need to begin - and keep returning.

Check out our website to explore our weekly timetable of classes and find the one that works for you (link in the bio).

We look forward to seeing you on the mat ✨
