SECOND CHANCE SUNDAY
Many people have heard the terms Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, Dyspraxia, and Dyscalculia, but are often unsure what they actually mean or how they can affect a child’s everyday life.
Understanding these differences helps us move beyond labels and recognise the unique strengths, challenges, and support needs of each child. These are not measures of intelligence. They are differences in how the brain processes information, learns skills, and interacts with the world.
In this latest visual, we’ve broken down the key features and common signs of each profile to help parents, educators, and carers build a clearer understanding.
Dysgraphia, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia and Dyscalculia FREE Bitesize Guides are now available – comment LINKS below for download instructions.

Finally found a fun way to use the dictionary! 🤣❤️
I’ve started a simple game with my 4-year-old Acer, to help build his vocabulary. He picks a word from the dictionary, we play Hangman first, and then we talk about what the word means afterwards.
It’s such a fun, natural way for him to learn new words without it feeling like “learning”.
He chose explain first today and I managed to guess it with only 4 wrong letters! Get in 💪 now it’s my turn to pick a word

Yes these are nails and yes nail design is part of a student’s GCSE Art and Design project (not these exact ones as their work is currently being marked so is live).
Every time I saw this student, she had the most incredible nails. We got chatting about her love of nail art and, before long, it had become part of her GCSE Art & Design project.
I could never imagine doing this in school!!! Nails were a big no!!
Just another example of how personalised and fantastic (even if I do say so myself) the GCSE Art and Design course for home educators is 💗
