Always try to start your day on a positive. Even when things are really tough.
Some helpful self talk tips:
βœ… I'm strong enough to get through today πŸ€—
βœ… Today I'm going to be calm, relaxed and in control of my thoughts and feelings πŸ‘
βœ… I'm going to achieve one more goal today πŸ‘
βœ… I am safe, I am brave and things will get better ❀️
βœ… I am stronger than my struggles, braver than my fears, I just need a moment to focus on what is near πŸ€—

If we understand how our brains work, especially in relation to our condition, it can be incredibly empowering. We can start to take back a little bit of control which can be life changing 😊

Meet Tim 😊

Tim came to see me 3 years ago as a heavy smoker. He really wanted to give up but had tried lots of different ways without success. He was also suffering from some smoking related health issues.
This is Tim now, 3 years on, enjoying feeling healthier, happier and looking forward to his future.

"Hi Paula , Waw , it’s three years today and I’ve not succumbed ( but do get the feeling of wanting one sometimes , but not quite as much or often ) all thanks to you- β€œyou’re wonderful β€œ
I’m so grateful for your help - thank you You're an amazing Lady. As you know I’d tried just about everything else with no success , then I meet you !
You did it for me πŸ₯³πŸ‘
I’m truly grateful to you.
Also my dentist said last week that my tongue and mouth looks very healthy now so different from three years ago and so the risks of bad things are a lot less
This is a picture of me at my Daughter's wedding. Very proud Dad" xx

It's never too late to give up an addiction. With the right help anything is possible.

Would you like to be able to go abroad and enjoy some traveling but can't because you have a fear of flying?

Aerophobia is an extreme fear of flying in an airplane. People with aerophobia may be scared about different aspects of flying, such as take-off, landing or getting locked in the plane. You might know that your fear is irrational β€” statistics show that air travel is one of the safest modes of travel β€” but you can’t reason your way out of the anxiety. Another name for this condition is aviophobia

I have helped many clients to overcome their fears of flying by using Hypnotherapy and Neuro-linguistic programming techniques.

Please do get in touch if you would like more information 😊

Some useful information for my new followers 😊

I'm in my third year of running my own business as a Solution Focused Therapist. Before that I worked in a local Secondary School for 15 years as a PE teacher, Head of Year and then as the Lead Mental Health for both staff and students.

I now work from home 3 days a week in my busy key2calm practice and one day I work as a therapist in a local secondary school. My therapy is very solution focused, aiming at helping my clients achieve their preferred future. I use a combination of hypnotherapy, Emotional Freedom Technique (Tapping) and Neuro Linguistic Programming to help rewire any negative neuro pathways. I also offer Walk and Talk therapy.

I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, playing bowls and netball and I'm often involved in some crazy ultra challenge. I have recently joined CrossFit to help improve my physical health and to enjoy the social interactions it brings.

I work with clients from age 8 and above in a range of different conditions including anxiety, addictions, phobias, depression, OCD & PTSD.

By making 1% marginal gains in lots of different aspects of your life can lead to life changing benefits.

It's never too late to make these changes 😊
