What an amazing time we had at our Overlocker/garment cloning retreat. We all learnt so much. Kristina Coles shared her immense knowledge with kindness and humour-keeping us all on track and making ‘beautiful lines’!

My new favourite make - in Floral Print fabric. 💐

The fabric has a slight stretch so it’s super comfy. I love the way the front pockets come up over the waist line to make belt loops-such a lovely detail.

I had to adjust the pattern to fit-yes, I made at least two toiles before it was right-as I’m short waisted I had to take 2 inches off of the bodice and add them to the trousers-and the fit is perfect!

I’m sure this won’t be my last pair…I’m already considering a shorter leg/no sleeve option for next spring/summer. Watch this space 😊
