Painting isn’t about as many people think ‘just slapping a paint brush about’ it’s about having the experience and knowledge of exactly how to prepare and use the correct products for the given task. Many people skip this step, it’s called a mist coat, all bare plaster must have this, or issues will occur down the line, like peeling, cracking, poor adhesion of the top coats. New plaster is porous like a sponge, so I’m going to leave this over the weekend to soak in and it’s ready for some colour on Monday. Have a great weekend everyone!

Abit of render on today’s agenda. All done using Dulux Weather shield smooth masonry mixed in Gardenia 10B15 to match the front of the house. Really am getting too old for this, climbing up roofs and scaffolding 🤣😬

Think I’m going change my business name to the window painting company, literally all I do for 6 months of the year 🤣 finally getting round to finishing this house front off, weathers not been very kind recently. All done using dulux quick dry exterior satin in colour county cream. Ignore the door that’s being completely replaced.

Kitchen/dining room fully finished ready for the weekend. Walls are Johnstones acrylic durable Matt brilliant white and Johnstones acrylic durable Matt matched to Valspar colour ‘Green willow’ on the two feature walls. Back onto exterior work next week, will no doubt rain of course 🤦‍♂️ Have a great weekend everyone!
