Palm Sunday Choral Service - The Way of the Cross

Everyone is welcome to our Palm Sunday service which takes the form of a performance of "The Way of the Cross" by Trinity Festival Choir.
The sequence of readings, poetry and music will be based on the Passion narrative from St Mark's Gospel, interspersed with traditional Passiontide congregational hymns as well as anthems by Gibbons and contemporary composers such as Philip Moore and Bob Chilcott. There is also a beautiful and original choral arrangement of "Were you there" and excepts from Handel's Messiah and Brahms’ Requiem.
There is no admission charge.
There will be a retiring collection, and all donations on the evening will be given to the charity Aid to the Church in Need, a charity that supports persecuted Christians globally, targeting aid in what actual local sufferers permanently “on the ground” identify as the most effective way. Please give generously!

We invite you to a Choral Service for Remembrance Sunday with the Trinity Festival Choir.

The service will include Ledger's Requiem ‘A Thanksgiving for Life’ and a selection of anthems and poetry.
All are welcome, free entry.

This Saturday, to celebrate Christian Aid Week, we are hosting a gathering within Trinity Church Sutton to help spread awareness, and raise money for, for the campaigns that they are working on.
Coffee, music and the power of hope - performances, readings, and a film about Christian Aid and its work to end poverty and achieve climate justice.
All are welcome, there is no charge but there will be opportunities to donate to Christian Aid or find out more.
