Despite a severe lack of rental stock in the UK right now, the Chancellor's Autumn Statement seemed to offer little support to landlords who are providing much-needed accommodation to tenants. 🏘️

🏦 Bring in further interest free loan schemes to bring empty disused stock back into circulation?
📑 Reform the planning process to allow for a smoother quicker process?
📄 Scrap stamp duty completely?

With increased pressure and costs, many landlords may be forced to sell some of their investment stock which will exacerbate the problem further: 𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐍 higher demand for rental properties and 𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐍 lower supply. 📈📉

However, trained and educated investors, I believe, will choose to remain in the market and continue to build their portfolios with a long-term strategy in mind. 🧠 The last thing you would want is let your money decrease in value sat idle in the bank. 💰🏦
