The Best Connection is recruiting Class 1 drivers to join our client based in Slough.

💸Pay Rate: £19.00 per hour.

⏰Shift Details:

🔹Hours will vary but start times from 5am onwards.
🔹Minimum 10 hours paid per shift

✨Your Responsibilities:

🔹Delivery and collection of goods to customers sites and depots.
🔹Daily vehicle checks and paperwork completion.

✨Requirements:

🔹Valid UK Class 1 driving license.
🔹Previous Class 1 driving experience.
🔹No more than 6 penalty points for minor offences
🔹No DR, DD, IN offences
🔹Valid Digital Tachograph card and CPC card

This role offers consistent weekday work within a busy and professional delivery operation.

✨The Role:

You will be delivering cargo products to customers and businesses, using specialist vehicles to ensure goods are transported safely and securely.

✨Key Responsibilities:

🔹Completing 2-3 deliveries and a handful of collections.
🔹Delivering goods safely to customer and site locations
🔹Loading and unloading the vehicle where required
🔹Carrying out daily vehicle checks
🔹Ensuring deliveries are completed safely and on time
🔹Providing excellent customer service

✨Requirements:

🔹Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
🔹Valid CPC and Digi Tacho card
🔹Previous HGV Class 2 delivery experience preferred.
🔹Reliable with good timekeeping
🔹Good communication and customer service skills.

⏰Working Hours: Monday to Friday 07:00 start

💸Pay Rate: £17.00 - £18.00 per hour.

· Location: Colnbrook, Slough
· Position: Full-Time, Temp2Perm

Hours & Pay ⏰
· Week 1: 08:30AM - 5:30PM Week 2: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM & Week 3: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM
(Must also be flexible on weekends)
· £12.21 per hour (Monday to Friday)
· £18.32 per hour (Saturdays)
· £24.42 per hour (Sundays)
