Amongst the Hedges Open Day is happening next
Sunday 19th July 10am - 2pm. Pickup a map at the allotment shop on Morley Street. A dozen plots will be open (indicated by a flag) where you can find lots of activities and speakers. Hedgehogs, Swifts, fermentation, compost, wildlife, wheat project, growing techniques, foraging, madame Zucchini, plant sales and more. A great day out with refreshments and cakes.
Please note: the allotments have a lot of uneven paths, trip hazards and steps. Unfortunately its not a great place for wheelchairs and buggies.

TWO WEEKS TO GO:
Come and have a nosey behind the hedges at this years open allotment day on Morley Street Allotments. Find speakers talking about wildlife, swifts, foraging, grains, hedgehogs, chickens and even compost, plus more surprises to be found. You might even find Madame Zucchini behind one hedge.
Look out for the flags to indicate which plots are open.
There will be plants for sale and the shop on Morley Street will be open for refreshments, homemade cake and all your gardening supplies.
