MacBook Air 13; customer came in on Friday last week having come directly from Apple who quoted for a new main board.

After some diagnostic tests we confirmed that the main board's power circuits had a failed capacitor which took out several other components.

A couple of hours later and a fraction of the cost of a new main board from Apple and the customer gets to keep his data, the system was back together and fully functional.

The customer came in to collect today; his MacBook Air 13 all back together
