Sometimes the hardest thing you’ll ever do is let go.

We hold onto people, plans, memories, and expectations because they feel familiar. But what if the very thing you’re clinging to is what’s stopping you from receiving something better?

Trust that what leaves your life isn’t always a loss. Sometimes it’s protection. Sometimes it’s preparation. Sometimes it’s Allah making room for what is truly meant for you.

Have faith in His timing, even when you don’t understand His plan.

Maybe the delay isn’t because Allah said “no.” Maybe it’s because He’s preparing something your heart isn’t ready for yet.

We spend so much of our lives asking “Why?”
Why didn’t it work out?
Why hasn’t my du’a been answered?

Why does everyone else seem to be moving forward while I feel stuck?
Surah Ibrahim gently reminds us that Allah sees what we cannot. What feels like a setback today may be the very thing that protects you tomorrow. The road that seems uncertain may be leading you exactly where you need to be.

This Surah also contains one of the most powerful promises in the Qur’an:
“If you are grateful, I will surely increase you.” (14:7)

A reminder that gratitude doesn’t mean life is perfect. It means trusting Allah enough to recognise His blessings, even in difficult seasons.
If you’ve been carrying worries, waiting for answers, or struggling to understand Allah’s plan, I pray this carousel brings your heart a little closer to Him.

Welcome back to Swipe Through the Surahs—a series exploring the lessons, wisdom, and beauty of every Surah in the Qur’an, one chapter at a time.

Ash- Shaheed | When Nobody Understands Your Struggle

How many things have you done that nobody knows about?

The tears you wiped away before anyone saw them.
The prayer you made when your heart felt heavy.
The temptation you resisted.
The struggle you carried quietly.
The effort you put in when nobody was watching.

Sometimes we can feel overlooked, misunderstood, or unappreciated. We look for recognition from people, forgetting that the One whose recognition truly matters has witnessed every moment.

Ash-Shaheed (الشهيد) is The All-Witnessing. Nothing escapes His sight. He sees the battles you never speak about, the good deeds nobody notices, and the effort behind every step you take towards Him.
If you’ve been feeling unseen lately, let this be your reminder: Allah knows. Allah sees. Allah understands.

Save this post for the days you need reassurance, and share it with someone who might need this reminder today.

Al- Majid | Seek Honour Where It Never Fades

So much of our lives is spent searching for validation.
We want to be noticed.
Appreciated.
Respected.
Remembered.
But no amount of praise from people can fill a heart that was created to find its worth in Allah.

Al-Maajid reminds us that true honour, nobility, and significance belong to Him alone. Human approval comes and goes. Opinions change. Recognition fades.
But the honour that comes from Allah is different.
It is not based on status, popularity, appearance, or success.
It is rooted in something far deeper: your relationship with the One whose glory never fades.

The more your heart seeks its worth from Allah, the less power the opinions of people have over you.

Save this as a reminder for the days you feel overlooked.
And share it with someone who needs to remember where true honour is found.
