The children made their own spring rolls, painted dragons that they could blow fire and reenacted the story of The Great Race!

World Book Day Fun! We really enjoyed seeing all the children dressed in their fantastic costumes! The children were making wands from Room on the Broom, drawing their own version of the Hungry Caterpillar, sharing and reading their books from home!📚🧚🏻‍♂️🧝🏻‍♂️👨🏻‍🚒👮🏻‍♂️🦁🐈‍⬛🦋🐞

📖WORLD BOOK DAY 2026📖
Well done to all the babies and staff who dressed up for world book day yesterday we had some amazing outfits, including the hungry caterpillar, fluffy rabbits, Mr Bump, Tigger, piglet ladybirds 🐞and who can forget Paddington and his marmalade sandwich 🥪 !.
The babies had a great time making stick man book marks , reading lots of stories and finding the animals in our "Dear Zoo" sand tray and listening to the gruffalo story too see what nature noises we could hear!.
Other activities we have been learning about this week included the festival "Holi" we have been painting with all different colours, coloured rice play, we have also been learning about our local wildlife making hedgehogs squirrels etc.
