Feeling totally gutted at the moment 😞
I noticed that Jack had a weepy eye on Sunday.
Nothing major, just weepy.
I checked him on Monday morning and it looked much worse, very swollen with a thick white discharge oozing from it...and his eye was bulging

He was straight off to the vet...suspected abcess or tumor behind his eye, pushing his eye out and causing it to bulge out...best scenario, an infection.

He's currently on an antibiotic injection every 48 hours, next one tomorrow, pain relief and lubricant eye drops, then reassess on Friday if there's no improvement.

There's been no improvement at all so far and he's been really subdued and quiet...Jack simply isn't Jack any more 😪

Jack is a usually a complete nightmare, trying to escape at every opportunity!
All of my regular customers know Jack! Jack that bites and doesn't let go!

I have various scars all over from where he's tried to take a chunk out of me!

Over the years I've learnt to read him and know when he's going to bite, it's been a long time since he's managed to catch me out! 🤣

Please keep him in your thoughts over the next few days, I'm not ready to say goodbye just yet 😢 x
