Today marks a year since we closed our doors for the last time.
We miss being open more than we can say and we would do anything to be able to reopen as soon as possible, please believe us. Honestly, I think we all expected to be open again by now, but unfortunately it hasn't been as easy as we expected.
A big thank you to Sheila, who- on top of being the best lead volunteer we could ask for- has spent the past year fighting to find us new premises, despite everything (and everyone!) seemingly being against us.
And a huge thank you to the customers who continue asking about us.
Can't believe we've been on Facebook for 6 years now. Thank you to everyone for the continued support. If we could be giving out books right now, we would be 😭 please be assured we (or I should say, Sheila) are trying everything we can to find new premises.
A very Merry Christmas and a happy new year to all our supporters, customers and all our fellow GET shops. Enjoy your Christmas festivities, whatever they may be and, as we step into a new year let us hope that 2026 brings us a new shop 🤞🏻
