Today we had a visit from councillor Ian Jones. Next door to our service was Kimberworth reformed church which was demolished a few years ago, since then this memorial plaque had been kept safe on our site. Following a post on social media where a gentleman from Gainsborough was searching for this plaque due to displaying the names of his 2 uncles. We contacted Ian who has now taken it to clean it up and display in St Thomas’s church.We look forward to attending the service which is been planned with our individuals to show case this wonderful peace of our local history.
