CONGRATULATIONS NATHAN 🌟

Sixteen year old Nathan Graham, of Rotherham Young Writers, has just won the Young Northern Writers' Award 2026! The award is brought to you by New Writing North ✨

If you didn't also see, he won the 2025 Foyle's Young Poetry award last year! An annual award by The Poetry Society.

We enjoyed hearing his poetry at Rotherham Civic Theatre last year when the Spread the Word anthology was launched, and most recently when he supported Len Pennie at Grimm & Co.

Nathan is part of Hive South Yorkshire's Young Writers.

Drop in for a DJ workshop in Snails yard, Street Art with Unfurl in All Saints Square and creative arts and crafts with Flux in Minster Yard at the UPLIFT Festival.

We're excited to share our next craft collective session with you! We've got four wonderful artists running craft activities, which you are welcome to drop-in and enjoy throughout the day.
