Earlier this week we ran a great event aboard the British Pullman, A Belmond Train.

The group left London Victoria in the morning, enjoying a sumptuous brunch with a glass of fizz before arriving in Hampshire and disembarking onto coaches for the short journey to the Bombay Sapphire Distillery. Here they were treated to a tour of the incredible facility followed by a wonderful gin masterclass.

Soon it was time to be taken back to the luxury train and return to London Victoria with guests enjoying a decadent 3 course dinner with Champagne and canapés.

Excited, exhilarated, ecstatic - Garfit Group have our first event in over 20 months tomorrow at The Belfry Hotel & Resort for the . It feels so good to be back running an event.

Our first year in business was 1990

Liverpool has just won the League Manchester United, in winning the FA Cup had just kept a young manager called Alex Ferguson in a job and Gary Lineker had just made ‘that’ eye contact with Bobby Robson to watch out for a tearful Gazza - but I digress!

If you had told us then that we would be celebrating our 30th anniversary some three decades later, with only one event in the Calendar year, we probably would've laughed at how crazy that sounded.

Yet we find ourselves 30 years old today, riding out this latest banana skin. It's not the first time we've weathered a storm – we’ve survived three major recessions in that time as well as foot and mouth disease.

But here we are, still going strong thanks to a great team both past and present, as well as some amazing clients.

So, as we enter our 4th decade, we look forward to getting back to doing what we love, and working with you again as soon as you feel ready. Call, email, text or just shout (we have very good hearing!)

Last week was a busy one, with one conference in Edinburgh for insurance company Cna Hardy and a golf event in Spain.
The conference went very well and was held at the Sheraton Hotels & Resorts Grand Hotel. After a day of meeting and networking and a motivational speech from SAS: Who Dares Wins star Mark “Billy” Billingham, the delegates went to a very special dinner at the incredible Royal Yacht Britannia for the full Scottish experience. Piped aboard the Queen’s former home on the high seas, the guests enjoyed a Champagne Reception and guided tour. They were then piped in to their 5 course dinner, which included a Haggis course - which was piped in and addressed in true Rabbie Burns style. Following the dinner, the RAF Band treated the guests to a Beat the Retreat on the quayside.

We’re just back from No Man’s Fort, an exclusive island hotel in the middle of the Solent, with Fegime and Prysmian. The guests had the run of the place, which included multiple games rooms, laser tag, beauty spa, hot tubs, fire pit and RIB boats. The guests had a welcome lunch, a sumptuous dinner and an overnight stay in the Fort’s beautiful rooms. A truly unique experience!

This evening we have been at Windsor Racecourse with Fegime UK where 94 guests have been enjoying Hospitality and a full 7 race card, including a race sponsored by Fegime. Here are some photos of the evening, which included a delegation from the group judging the Best Turned Out horse in their race and presenting the prize to the winning connections.

Today was the Phase Electrical Thames Boat Cruise aboard the Dixie Queen. We had a 4 table Casino and music from DJ and Percussionist Lyndsay.

It was a lovely, sunny day in London today for the Gil-Lec Group. First off the group met at The Wharf on the Southbank for coffee and pastries. London Guides then took the group on an interesting tour along the banks of the Thames to the Tower Bridge area and to lunch at Butlers Wharf Chop House. Finally, the group went for a few beers and some Karaoke at Draft House Tower Bridge!

The Fegime UK 2019 event in Rome has drawn to a close. Staying at the fantastic Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts Rome Cavalieri, the weekend started on Thursday evening with a Welcome Dinner at the Rome legend Da Meo Pa***ca in the Trastevere district of the city. On Friday the group had a tour of the Colosseum and Imperial Forum, followed by a Gala Dinner at the amazing Palazzo Brancaccio with entertainment from Funkty Dumpty and The Three Waiters International!
Saturday saw the group brave an unseasonal downpour and visit the Vatican Museums, then finish the weekend with a dinner on the hotel’s roof terrace with spectacular city views and a star turn from Kevin Fitzsimmons, treating the group to Sinatra and Buble standards and some Italian swing favourites.
