It is with a very heavy heart that I have to write this.

Due to circumstances entirely beyond my control, the restaurant was forced to close unexpectedly.

I want to make one thing absolutely clear: I had no involvement in the day-to-day running of the business. My role was solely to finance the venture, a decision I made in good faith because I believed in the concept and the people involved.

Since the closure, a number of customers have contacted me regarding bookings. Unfortunately, I do not have access to any booking systems or customer records, so every enquiry comes as a surprise to me.

I fully understand the disappointment and frustration this situation has caused. However, I respectfully ask that nobody contacts me with threats or attends my family home. That is completely unacceptable. I am a human being, and this situation has been every bit as devastating for me as it has been for those affected.

I built this restaurant with blood, sweat, tears, and even a broken leg. It was created as a passion project to provide opportunities for people I genuinely considered friends and colleagues. Sadly, with everything that has come to light, I now feel that trust was misplaced and my goodwill was taken advantage of.

I have been left to deal with significant financial liabilities, as well as the concerns of disappointed customers. While many company directors might choose to walk away from a situation like this, that is not who I am. I intend to face this responsibly and do everything I reasonably can to help those affected.

If you have a booking or believe you are owed information, please contact me respectfully. I cannot promise to resolve every issue, but I will do my absolute best to assist wherever I can.

Above all, I ask for understanding. The people I trusted most have left me carrying the consequences, and I have suffered immensely as a result. Despite everything, I remain committed to acting with honesty, integrity, and respect.
