I think one of the hardest parts of solo motherhood isn't just everything we, as solo mums, have to do.

It's trying to understand who we're becoming while we're doing it.

We often hear people say,

"Find yourself again."

But I've been wondering...

What if there isn't an old version of us waiting to be found?

What if we're simply becoming someone new?

That thought has changed the way I think about healing.

Not as returning...

but as understanding.
