Along with many others globally, we mourn the death of HM Queen Elizabeth II. Today, as a mark of respect, we won’t be releasing our usual content.

We would instead like to recognise her life and to give thanks for her many years of service, her faith in Jesus Christ, and in particular her public acknowledgement of this Christian faith and in our need for a Saviour.

In 2011 she spoke these words:

'Although we are capable of great acts of kindness, history teaches us that we sometimes need saving from ourselves – from our recklessness or our greed. God sent into the world a unique person – neither a philosopher nor a general (important though they are) – but a Saviour, with the power to forgive.'

Let’s pray for her family, for all those who mourn her passing, and for faith and wisdom for HM King Charles III.
