I’ve just released a new behind-the-scenes wedding film on YouTube.

This one gives a real look at what goes into filming a full wedding day — not just the finished highlight film, but the process behind it.

From camera setup and lens choices, to audio, movement, storytelling and the decisions being made throughout the day, I wanted this video to show the reality of creating a cinematic wedding film as a solo wedding videographer.

For me, wedding filmmaking is never just about capturing what happens. It’s about understanding the emotion of the day, knowing what moments matter, and making sure the final film feels personal, considered and full of meaning.

This video is mainly for wedding videographers, filmmakers and creatives who want a closer look at how I approach a real wedding day from start to finish.

If your wedding is meant to feel like a celebration, it should look like one too. The best moments aren’t the curated, the posed or the forced. It’s moments like these- the ones with heart, with emotion- with passion.

Just after their personalised fireworks display, Caroline turns to her adoring friends and family and screams ‘we just got married’- to which she receives a massive cheer and applause.

No gimmicks. No staging. Pure feeling.

Iconic Champagne celebrations 🖤🤍

Editorial wedding photos don’t get much more iconic than this- a black and white moment of Danielle spraying Champagne from the bottle during their black-tie wedding day at The Orangery Maidstone.

I always say to my couples that no matter what you do on your wedding day, you have to do it your way. Confetti, Champagne towers, sparklers and fireworks are all amazing, but you have to be yourselves and do it you way for it to look and feel authentic.

This is authentic Danielle & Darren- an editorial wedding moment that perfectly sums them up as a couple. It’s one of my favourite moments from their wedding gallery 🖤🤍
