The Seven of Pentacles often points towards a choice between two paths, the tried and tested path that you know and the unfamiliar path that may lead somewhere new. It suggests that it is time to make a choice, weigh up the pros and cons of both options and focus your energy into one path. Open yourself up to the possibility of change.

Take a step back from your work and assess your progress. You will allow yourself time to re-energize, gather your thoughts and think about your next move. Harvest your fruits of hard labour when it feels right to do so. If your gut tells you that now is the time, trust that instinct. What is abundant today may be scarce tomorrow.

Consider how you use your time, energy and money. If your current path uses all your resources and provides nothing in return, it may be time to consider a different path. Investing more time, energy and resources into fruit that has withered on the vine will only exhaust you, physically, emotionally and financially.

Whatever path you choose, remember that the fruits of hard labour take time to grow, take time to relax and have fun between work, otherwise you will be too exhausted to enjoy them.
