One of our customers called to say the lights in their garage/ gym were flickering. When we went over to take a look we were greeted with a seriously dangerous electrical bodge job by the previous home owner.

The incoming supply to the garage was completely loose and was arcing inside the junction box and had actually melted the connector blocks. 🔥 They had also cut all the earths out of the wiring feeding the downlights and metal light switches so there was no protection for the customer in the event of an electric shock which could be fatal. On top of that they’d left exposed live connections in the loft space above the ceiling.

We re wired and re terminated all connections and tested the new wiring to ensure we left the client with a safe and fully functioning space.
