Another great experiential programme

At 16.00 Singapore Standard Time (SST) we were asked respond to a Mayday of an unknown vessel by the MPA Singapore (Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore). We were instructed to track 130 degrees magnetic, rendezvous and follow to assist another MPA vessel. At 16.15 SST we entered Indonesian Territorial Waters. At 16.45 SST whilst in a seach pattern we encountered and fended off a pirate attack. With the supoort of a Police Coast Guard Singapore unit we are relieved to say we made our escape and returned safe and well at 16.40 SST.
