A great evening at the Perth Toastmasters meeting!

Maliki led a fantastic Table Topics session all about names, which had everyone thinking — and speaking — on the spot. We learned a few fun surprises along the way, including one member confessing that their nickname is “Bones”
 just like in Star Trek!

Phil then guided us through a thoughtful review of what our club is doing well and where we can continue to improve. It’s always valuable to pause, reflect, and see how we grow together as a club.

Caroline shared some great insights on the power of body language in a speech, based on a Toastmasters training session delivered at NCR Dundee. A good reminder that our hands, posture, movement, and facial expressions can be just as powerful as the words we say.

And of course, no meeting would be complete without a few extras — some very lovely biscuits and a special little visitor, Rosie the dog, who brought plenty of smiles to the room.

Here are a few photos from a warm, lively, and inspiring evening at Perth Toastmasters!
