Electrostatic precipitators are designed to capture grease and smoke in commercial kitchen applications. Otherwise the grease coats the downstream ductwork and creates a fire risk so needs BESA Group cleaning. Cooking smells created by the grease and smoke can also cause a nuisance to neighbours.

But the grease and smoke that gets trapped needs to be removed from the ESP so that the equipment continues to operate at the highest efficiency.
