HAPPY WINDRUSH DAY!

What have you got cooking for 2025?

Over the last 18 months we’ve been cooking up a brand new book to share with you all! ‘One Dish at a Time: Preserving Caribbean Culinary Culture’ explores 400+ years of edible history on a plate with contributions from members of the Windrush Generation and their descendants around the UK. You can order your copy now by emailing us – [email protected]

For a taste of what’s to come, tune into the podcast that accompanies the book ‘Objeks and Tings: The Kitchen Table Talks Edition’. We invited a few celebrity guests to enjoy supper with us, as we cooked recipes from the book and chatted about their connection to Caribbean food and culture. Our guests were Jamz Supernova, Chef Dom Taylor, Maureen Tyne from Maureen's Brixton Kitchen, and BBC Radio 1Xtra's Richie Brave.

Dive deep into the enticing flavours and intriguing origins of Caribbean food from days gone by as you cook your way through the centuries and explore how our culinary legacy connects us to our Caribbean ancestry.
