After some research and hunting over the internet I finally found why we say ‘cheers’. The origin of the term dates back to the late Middle Ages, where it was derived from the Old French word “chiere,” meaning “face” or “head.” Over time, its meaning evolved to signify happiness or good mood, and eventually became associated with toasting and expressing goodwill.

So cheers to another year of Ian R Marshall Photography. Thanks to all my couples! I love doing this!
