It's a weird one being on the committee of such an event... we spend months and months planning and preparing, and then are so busy on the day itself that we can't really enjoy it ourselves. Being our Head of Fun & Activities also comes with a lot of pressure for everyone to have a good time, and with it falling on my birthday weekend, it really had to be good... 🥵😅

Some highlights of my day include:

Getting to catch up with some of the incredible humans that I've met through this wonderful community we have 💕
The immaculate vibes ✨️
Representing on the rescue panel Q&A (talk about imposter syndrome!) 🐰
Being joined by the amazing for some fantastic drawing and painting sessions - a festival first 🎨

Seeing Charlie from smash the first hay workshops we've ever held to packed out rooms 🚜
Vegan soft serve from 🍦
Catching up with Aaron of .store and meeting his wonderful family 📷
Having the best team of volunteers supporting throughout the day, including Kerry, .mckay.92 and who quite literally kept everything running and helped me keep the remains of my sanity 📖

And in general, seeing everything we've planned come to fruition and lots of smiling faces about. I'm just SO proud of the entire team for pulling off another banger of a day 💪

Now then, it's time to breathe for a little while... 🥂🎉
