When the photographer gets photographed... photo-ception!

I had great fun assisting Beth Hicks Photography on a recent ballet-themed equine portrait session. Arnie (Beth's lovely horse) was our handsome model, he was a superstar but all he really wanted to do was cuddle his mum... so I captured these candid moments too, and I love them! 🐴💖

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them.

Incredible 🦌 Moments like this are worth waiting for!

I have waited two whole years to get this shot and this morning was that very very special moment to achieve my dream. Stag Sunrise is now a print and canvas! What a morning seeing these guys watching the sun rise at 4.56 am. Its why i do what i do as you simply never know when that moment comes when you come across something and your heart starts instantly pumping out of your chest until you can raise the camera up and capture the moment in time. The feeling after the first click is monumental and utterly addictive as im sure you can imagine. Two years since i set myself that goal of stags in the sunrise - weheyyyyyyy another one ticked off the list :) :)

🇬🇧 🇬🇧

Today marks 75 years since Victory in Europe was declared during World War Two: a day etched in British History. There will be no parties in the streets on this occasion but I hope you are all celebrating from home!

This Spitfire MK356 was photographed at the Royal Welsh Show during a Battle of Britain Memorial Flight display. It flew in over 60 wartime operational missions during WWII and is now one of only eight Spitfires worldwide that flew with the Royal Air Force (or affiliated air forces) on D-Day that are still airworthy.
