Our aim is to provide the community with the freshest homemade breads, free from additives and using where possible ingredients that are locally produced. We use traditional techniques that promote flavour and enhance the loaf’s freshness. The word artisan signifies handmade and that is what our breads are, ensuring the tastiest crust and crumb.

Here is our new menu for the cafe! It's been a bit of a rush this morning already, everyone seems to be excited about bacon and sausage half baguettes being back 😁
This is just a temporary menu as we will be changing it and adding more as we go along

Some of you may have heard the rumours, or maybe you've seen our new sign... Spelt & Rye is expanding! 😁
We've taken over the cafe space just across the way (formerly Lady Di's Eatery) as our new cafe and cob shop 🥪☕
I should definitely have announced this sooner but it's all been a bit manic. We really weren't sure when we'd be able to open up, but now we think we're finally ready....
