Complex incisional hernia repair or CAWR (complex abdominal wall reconstruction) is a big part of my work in addition to my transplant and live donor work. Doing laparoscopic incisional hernia repair in a kidney-pancreas transplant patient entails many risks related to organ damage, immunosuppression and severe bowel adhesions. Not for the faint hearted. Glad I could help.
