solar energy into other critical health facilities and hospitals in Syria. Particularly, we aim to transition 5 other facilities from diesel to renewable energy before spring 2018. We believe that renewable energy is a democratizing force, and has the capacity to empower communities through distributed power generation. Especially in Arab world, where many communities are facing immense challenges.

شمس سوريا هي ميادرة من اتحاد منظمات الرعاية الطبية والاغاثية، تهدف إلى تمكين المنشآت الطبية في سوريا، وتقوية المجتمع المحلي من خلال بنى تحتية تستمد طاقتها من مصادر مستدامة و متجددة كبديل للديزل.

بعد إنتهاء العمل وتشغيل منظومة الطاقة الشمسية لأحد المشافي الحساسة في سوريا بنجاح، هدفنا العام هو نقل التجربة إلى منشآت حساسة طبية أخرى. بشكل عملي: نهدف إلى نقل ٥ منشآت طبية حساسة على الأقل من الاعتماد على المازوت إلى اطاقة المتجددة قبل ربيع ٢٠١٨
