I knew the children deserved more than the current system offers, so I built it myself! In 2022, I walked away from the classroom, but not my purpose. I didn’t leave because I didn’t love it, but because the system held me back from making the impact I knew I could. So, I built Little Learners—a place where I could teach in a way that truly mattered. Then, I became a mother, and everything changed. I realised I didn’t just want to help children learn—I wanted to transform the way they were supported. The way I’d want for my own daughter. That’s when Little Learners evolved. It is SO much more than tuition and academics—it’s about confidence, mindset, and lifelong success. Because when children feel truly supported, they don’t just learn—they thrive. Wondering how to help your child catch up in maths? 🤔

It doesn’t have to be overwhelming or stressful! Start with these simple, fun tips to build confidence and understanding:

1️⃣ Start with place value – Help them understand that 10 is a group of 10 ones, and 100 is 10 tens. Everyday objects like coins, toys or snacks are great for visualising this concept.

2️⃣ Move on to addition and subtraction – ensure your child is comfortable with basic calculations. Use number games, apps, or board games to keep things fun and engaging.

3️⃣ Use hands-on methods – Encourage them to use counters, draw out problems, or even incorporate songs and rhymes to make the learning process interactive and enjoyable!

🎉Learning doesn’t have to be boring or frustrating! When kids are engaged and having fun, they’re building confidence without even realizing it. ✨

⚠️ Red Flag: If your child is relying heavily on written methods, it’s often a sign that their understanding isn’t quite there yet. They may be missing the deeper why behind the maths, which can affect their progress.
