I wasn't ready, but I did it anyway 💫

At the weekend I completed my first half marathon...

◇ I only signed up 3 weeks prior
◇ I am 16 weeks post op, with wounds still not healed
◇ I have only just started exercising since my op 2 weeks ago
◇ I am not a runner / very new to running
◇ I had no one to do it with
◇ I had to travel outside of my own town and stay overnight before to do it..

But, I did it anyway 💪 and raised money for a great cause!

This is your reminder - stop waiting until you are "ready"

Reality check - you'll never be ready, there will always be an excuse or reason not too...

I am super proud of myself, I practised what I preach of feeling the fear but doing it anyway 💜👏

Whatever it is you want to do, just do it..
◇ It doesn't matter how
◇ It doesn't matter how long it takes
◇ It doesn't matter if you learn from it and do it again..

All that matters is that you take the leap and do it, otherwise you'll never know, never learn, and never grow 💜💫
