New irons in the bag for the 2026 season 🚨

This fitting was all about improving launch and stopping power, while maintaining the ball speed, spin consistency and dispersion needed for better scoring on the course.

Testing on our grass range allowed us to see real on course performance rather than relying solely on indoor data. After working through a range of head, shaft and specification combinations, the new Titleist T350 irons delivered increased distance along with steeper landing angles and improved stopping power into the greens.

A key part of the session was also our premium golf ball fitting experience. By moving into the Callaway Chrome Tour, we saw significant improvements in launch, spin, peak height, carry distance and overall stopping power compared to the player’s current ball. It’s a great example of how the right golf ball can have a huge impact throughout the bag.

We also identified that shortening the irons by ½ inch compared to the previous set, improved strike consistency dramatically by producing more centred contact, improved ball speeds and more consistent carry distances which made the overall club perform better.

A full fitting experience is about much more than just selecting new clubs. From testing on grass to a custom golf ball fitting, every detail matters when building a set that performs as best as possible.

The Callaway Opus SP wedges are designed to give players more versatility, spin and confidence around the greens, but is all starts by choosing the right grind is key:

S Grind – A great all around option with moderate bounce, ideal for players who like a square-faced approach and play a variety of turf conditions.

C Grind – Increased heel and toe relief for golfers who like to open the face and create different shot shapes around the green.

T Grind – The lowest bounce option, built for those players who want maximum shot making versatility from firm turf and tight lies.

W Grind – Higher bounce and more forgiveness, making it a strong choice for softer conditions or steeper attack angles.

Why not pair your wedges with the right Chrome Tour golf ball?

Chrome Soft - A softer feeling golf ball that combines flight and spin dynamics to create stopping power on greens whilst maintaining a slightly lower flight.

Chrome Tour – a golf ball that blends speed, spin and launch characteristics all in one, designed for the player who wants a consistent ball flight and shot shaping variety.

Chrome Tour X – Higher flight, more spin round greens and maximum workability for players seeking high level control across all areas of the bag.

Why not look to get a golf ball fitting along with your brand new wedges?
By using Foresight Technology, there are endless ways to test ball speed, flights, spin and launch characteristics across the whole bag.
