❤️ Likes
Like lap snuggles ( all 8.3 kilos of me 😂) bird watching, my feather toy & helping with crosswords.

🚫 Not keen on
New people who make the first move, sudden loud noises but thunder’s ok & I’m very chilled about hoovering 🤷‍♀️.

🏡 Ideal Home
I’m a big boy, so a spacious & quiet home would be perfect for me. I love company, so I’d love to live with people who are home a lot and can give me lots of cuddles & brush my beautiful fur every day.

⭐️ Fun facts
I love an Amazon paper bag, a box or a shopping bag - if it fits (or if it doesn’t) I sits! I also like to kidnap my favourite throw, so if something goes bump in the night, it was probably me making off with it😺.

💛 Why you’ll love me
I’m a gentle giant with big ears, big paws & a big heart. I may look like a lion but really I’m not the bravest, just a sweet natured p***y cat, looking for someone that I can lavish all my love on.

🎯 First few weeks

Week 1: I’ll probably find a hiding place and suss out my new surroundings and family from there. I’ll be happy to receive visitors, and the odd treat in my den but I’ll probably come out & eat when it’s quiet.
If you wiggle my feather toy I might just stick out a giant paw and grab it.

Week 2: I’ll probably be getting braver and if you come & sit near my hiding place I might come and see you and even sit on your knee to make friends.
I’d love it if you’d play with me with my feather toy.

Week 3: Onwards I’ll probably be out and about, exploring the best spots for birdwatching & perfecting my lap snuggles schedule & you’ll have made a friend for life.

🏡 Home Checks
To ensure the safety and wellbeing of our cats, we carry out home checks to make sure your chosen cat will be happy, secure, and suited to your home.

🤩 Did You Know We Offer Virtual Home Visits?
We understand life can be busy, so we can complete home visits remotely via a WhatsApp video call, making the adoption process easier and more convenient for potential adopters.

❤️ Matching the Right Cat to the Right Home
Every cat is unique! We carefully consider temperament, age, household setup, and any existing pets to ensure the best possible match.

💷 Adoption Donation
There is a £100 adoption donation for each cat, which helps contribute towards essential veterinary costs including vaccinations, neutering, flea and worm treatment, health checks, and ongoing veterinary care for cats still in our rescue. Every adoption helps us continue rescuing and rehoming cats in need.

🐾 Adoption Day
Once approved, it’s time to welcome your new family member home! Our cats leave us with veterinary checks completed and advice to help them settle in.

📞 Ongoing Support
Our support doesn’t end after adoption, we’re always here to offer guidance and advice if needed.

By adopting a rescue cat, you’re not just giving them a home, you’re giving them a second chance at love and happiness.

🩷 Likes
Food, treats, head and neck scratches, his favourite ball toy, and a peaceful life.

🚫 Not keen on
Loud noises, busy environments, and lots of people at once.

🏡 Ideal home
A calm home where he can settle at his own pace and grow in confidence. Teddy prefers things quiet and predictable while he builds trust.

🐱 Cat friends
Used to living with other cats (including foster siblings Doris & Boris). He may find younger, energetic cats a bit much but could live with other cats following gentle introductions.

⭐ Fun fact
Teddy sometimes carries his ball toy around the house like it’s very important business… which, to him, it absolutely is. He also believes houseplants are an excellent snack option.

🎯 First 90-Day Plan

Month 1: Find safe hiding spots, learn the household routine and investigate any suspicious-looking plants.

Month 2: Confirm food service is reliable and acceptable.

Month 3: Begin accepting that humans are actually quite useful (and possibly cuddly).
