Through practicing Pilates movements, you will become more self-aware and better able to take control of your body and your life. Although Pilates techniques may at times take you outside your comfort zone, the benefits of Pilates are that you begin to understand and appreciate not only your strengths, but also your weaknesses. Once you have mastered a strong Pilates body you are more able to go on to tackle stronger and faster exercise regimes, such as aerobics, interval training and jogging.

Forever Young - Just when the kettles boiling
Keep your weight over the big and second toe so your ankles don’t roll. Lower with control. Do seated in the chair if you can’t stand up.

Forever Young - Just while the kettles boiling
This exercise will strengthen the calf muscles, ankles and toe joints. Helping with walking and reaching up into high cupboards. Do 1 set of 10. Building to 2 sets of 10. Feet closure together is easier. Feet hip width apart will be more challenging. You can do this seated too.
