Driving Range Trainer

Next round of updates are on the way for driving range trainer, offering more variety of shots, more profession warm-up sequences and a set your bag option that allows you to create sequences that use the clubs in your bag.

So I'm at the driving range with my 9 year old son, try to hit shots suggested by Driving Range Trainer

Son: Dad, why don't you hit these clubs?
Me: they are blades son, you need to be really good (or think you are really good) to hit those
*Son picks up blade 5 iron smashes ball down the range*
Son: it is not that hard Dad, you should practise more.

Now I don't know if I should give up golf or start planning for my retirement for when he turns pro…

And the reason for all this? Tiger Woods he stayed up late to watch the masters on Friday and Saturday to watch Tiger play.

I thought it might be an excuse just to stay up late but no when the play was brought forward on the Sunday, he was still there watching and cheering Tiger on.

He has since spend hours in the garden hitting practise balls (apologies to my neighbours), been to the driving range and now there is a scheduled pitch and putt family match (my wife, my two sons and me) planned for tomorrow ( ).

Tiger might or might not be the GOAT but one thing is for sure his comeback has bridged a generational and gender gap like no one else has.

Now to crush them all at pitch and putt tomorrow….that's what you get for saying I should practise more :-)
