We connect and help businesses across the island to trade cross-border, collaborate, innovate and attract investment Since inception, we have helped more than 25,000 companies with cross-border information and business services and over 6,000 SMEs have participated on our trade and innovation programmes. As a result, in excess of £700 million worth of business value been generated with additional returns forecasted as projects complete and benefits are realised.

Applications are now open for the 2026 North-South Business Cooperation Awards, which returns for its second year with a total prize fund of €500k.
The initiative, supported by the Stelios Philanthropic Foundation, celebrates and supports cross-border entrepreneurship on the island of Ireland.
This year’s programme will provide a total prize fund of €500,000, including one Gold Award worth €150,000, two Silver Awards worth €100,000 each, and six Bronze Awards worth €25,000 each.
Open to businesses operating in both Northern Ireland and Ireland, the Awards will recognise those companies that are building commercial links between both jurisdictions, and are contributing to greater economic cooperation across the island.
Eligible businesses must demonstrate significant cross-border economic activity and meet the programme criteria.
Applications close on 7th September 2026, with winners to be announced at Castle Leslie Estate, Co. Monaghan, on 28th October 2026.
