Evening everyone,
As you all know, the last couple of weeks haven't been great for me. Alongside that, I've been struggling to juggle the workload while trying to maintain a healthy family life.
Truth be told, I'm mentally and physically exhausted. I'm feeling incredibly deflated, as I think anyone would after putting so much heart and soul into their business, only for things not to go as planned.
As I mentioned earlier today, there will be no cheesecakes next week, and I'll also be running a much simpler menu. I just can't face putting another 40 hours into making everything and risking getting nothing back for all that time and effort.
There will also be a few little changes moving forward. Rather than reducing any remaining stock to half price, I'll be putting together discounted selection bags instead, as a couple of people have kindly suggested. This will still be offering a great deal.
I'm now going to take a little cake break for a few days. I won't be answering any messages or enquiries until Wednesday, when I'll be back and ready to reopen.

Thank you so much to everyone who has sent kind messages, left supportive comments, or continued to support The Cake Shed. It really does mean more than you know.
For now, I just need a little time to rest, reset, and come back feeling like myself again.
