To all Members & Club Secretaries

The British Rabbit Council has recently been subjected to renewed targeting by an individual or individuals using a fabricated email address to disseminate defamatory, false, and unfounded allegations concerning rabbit exhibitors and exhibition events.
While we acknowledge that opinions differ regarding the exhibition of rabbits, the British Rabbit Council remains fully committed to the highest standards of animal welfare. We rigorously adhere to established welfare guidelines and continually review and engage with credible research relating to rabbit health and wellbeing.
A letter has been written for show halls to explain the situation and will be available to members via the Members’ Area of our website. Copies will also be distributed to show secretaries by email or post.
We request that any correspondence received from [email protected] be forwarded to the BRC office for our records and further action.
Further updates will be provided as necessary.

D Young
On behalf of the Governing Body of the BRC.
