Ok so all kittens and both mamas have been in my room all day while I’ve bleached and flea treated the quarantine room.

Just moved them back in, but will need to move them back to my room in the early morning, because the sun hits the front of the house.

All looking a bit healthier and less itchy. Wormer to be administered tomorrow. Then vets on Saturday for ringworm treatment.

The worst part of all of this is knowing that I am completely full and unable to take in these poor babies currently living outside on a concrete slab in the feral cat garden.
The rage I have towards the people that didn’t get their cats neutered, and let them roam free to result in 2 week old babies having eyes glued shut with yellow discharge and being eaten alive by fleas, is indescribable.

Please help if you can. The quicker I can get the current cats and kittens healthy for rehoming, the faster this next lot will be safe.

I’ll put another mama and kitten update on tonight- currently in the middle of moving them into my room, stripping down the quarantine room (it’s now 38 degrees in there), bleaching everything in it (kills ringworm spores) and treating the whole room with indorex flea spray. Once it’s ventilated I can move them back in tonight when it’s cooler.

The kittens have now been treated with frontline spray and both mamas have spot on. Next job is wormer for all now the flea burdens have reduced, then ringworm treatment.

Slow and steady wins the battle. And this is a bloody battle!

For the avoidance of doubt as to how badly off these kittens are, this is just what I found on the floor.

The flea and worm burdens are horrendous let alone the ringworm.
