Mighty Then the LORD told Moses Now you will see what I will do to Pharaoh.When he feels the force of My strong hand he will let the people go. In fact he will force them to leave his land!(Exodus 6:1) If only we could wrap our brains around how great God is! He tells Moses at the start of this epic journey towards liberating the Israelite nation that his might will be on display.He promises that the people will be freed even though Moses on his own had absolutely no power to make this god-like ruler give up his free workforce.Moses took a massive step of faith by going before Pharaoh & telling him that his God was greater but His faith paid off because God kept to His word.We can trust when God tells us He is with us that He is able to see His plan to completion! Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord plans for welfare & not for evil to give you a future & a hope.Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all ur heart & do not lean on your own understanding. Check Your Motives Don’t be selfish don’t try to impress others.Be humble thinking of others as better than yourselves.(Phi 2:3) Evaluate your motives.Where do you need to pivot from serving yourself to serving others?What lies have you entertained that have inflated your own status? God cares about our hearts so take time to align your motives with God’s standard of humility. Proverbs 21:2 Every way of a man is right in his own eyes but the Lord weighs the heart.Galatians 1:10 For am I now seeking the approval of man or of God?Or am I trying to please man?If I were still trying to please man I would not be a servant of Christ.1 Thessalonians 2:4 But just as we have been approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel so we speak not to please man but to please God who tests our hearts. Phil 2:3 Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit but in humility count others more significant than yourselves.1 Timothy 1:5 The aim of our charge is love that issues from a pure heart & a good conscience.Gor bless us.

Sin When Adam sinned sin entered the world.Adam’s sin brought death so death spread to everyone for everyone sinned.(Romans 5:12) Sin pulls us away from God.Even more than that it’s a death sentence. We are all made with a pride that wants to say we are better than our maker.This fundamental flaw in our nature makes it impossible to live without a miracle!Thank God he sent us a miracle through His son Jesus. Jesus makes up for our sin & makes a way for life after death.What a gift! James 4:17 So whoever knows the right thing to do and fails to do it for him it is sin.Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.Romans 3:23 For all have sinned & fall short of the glory of God.1 John 1:8-10 If we say we have no sin we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say we have not sinned we make Him a liar. God bless us.
