And that was Redpath in Italy 🇮🇹

Owen and Mykyla are so grateful to the team at Collinson Ceramics for inviting them out to visit their factory for Atlas Concorde! It was an incredible trip full of inspiration, from the old of the Palazzo Ducale of Sassuolo to the new of the Lamborghini production line, they are full to the brim with inspiration.

Day 3 of our trip was full of surprises 😱

Owen and Mykyla got to go to the slab production factory in Finale Emilia. No photos were allowed but they thoroughly enjoyed seeing the recently expanded and upgraded factory for the production of large slab tiles along with ceramic wall tiles.

And, just when they thought their trip was winding down to an end, they had a surprise trip to the Lamborghini museum and factory in Sant’Agata Bolognese! Touring the production line of the Urus models being built and learning more about their design and history was an incredible opportunity - the team are excited to bring back this fast paced, state of the art and precise inspiration back to our showroom in Musselburgh.

Our founder, Owen, and designer, Mykyla, were invited to Italy by Collinson Ceramics to visit their factory for Atlas Concorde 🇮🇹

Their first day started in Bologna where they were then taken to the main Atlas HQ in Fiorano Modenese. Here they learnt about the manufacturing process of their porcelain tiles, with a tour of the main factory and production line, seeing the raw materials get turned into finished tiles, then safely packed and shipped.
