Joint birthday celebrations this week.
Road 2 Recovery- Musselburgh celebrated our 3rd Birthday.

Our great friend and supporter Terry Mccutcheon from Hope 4 Addiction uk celebrated 23 years clean and sober.

Fantastic night with open and honest sharing.

God has been so faithful to us.

If something is getting in the way of your walk with God then come along.

Alcohol, Drugs, P**n, Gambling, etc etc etc just a few of the ongoing battles we share each week.

What an amazing night we had last night at our Road 2 Recovery group. We were so blessed to have Joe join us to share how God has worked miraculously in his life.

He spoke about Honesty, Faithfulness and Forgiveness and how adopting each of these characteristics in his life has seen him change. He has changed from someone with no hope to someone with a great life, future and personal saviour.

This then set the tone for the rest of the meeting. 19 of us were there and the sharing of our own experiences, weaknesses and challenges made it an awesome and yet very safe place to be.

Life in addiction is like living life on a roundabout. Same thing every day, pretending everything is ok.

If you want to come off that roundabout then certain choices have to be made. Who you go about with, who you don’t go about with. How you occupy your time.

Our routes into addiction may differ but our recovery is the same. It has Jesus at the centre.
