THIS SUNDAY ITS THE Market Rasen Running Festival 2026

MESSAGE FROM MIKE

Hi All!

You have probably seen by the roadsigns that this Sunday (28 June) Rasen Running Club will be holding the Market Rasen Running Festival!

Over 500 runners from all over the country will be coming to Rasen to compete in the 5k, 10k and Kids fun-run races. It's looking like being a nice day, and we also have loads going on at Rase Park where all the races finish!

Proceeds from the races will go towards local groups & good causes.

Do please come out and support the runners, cheering them on or if you live on the route and can get a hose out, I'm sure they'll appreciate it!

Great spots for spectating are Wolds Edge Tea Rooms where you'll be able to see both 5k & 10k Runners and grab a coffee & bacon butty while you watch!

Also the Coffee Man near the Caravan site will have the 10k go past (although if driving you'll need to park just outside the road closure and walk a couple of hundred yards riund the corner!!

Unfortunately, and event llike this will mean some Road Closures - these will be in place from 0930 on Caistor Rd from Rase Lane to Church St, Church St & Waterloo St.

Also from 1015 on Caistor Rd from The Furlongs to meet the rest of the Road Closures.

And on Rasen Rd fromm the T-Junction with Walesby Rd to Just past the Caravan Site Byway.
