A little bit about us....

If you're new here, hello! As we've been welcoming some new faces to Rural Roosts recently, we thought it would be a good moment to introduce ourselves and our team here in Stainfield.

We are Katie and Tim, owners of Rural Roosts. Over 22 years ago we opened our first pine holiday lodge here on our 3rd generation family farm. In the years since, we have worked hard to create a peaceful retreat in the heart of the Lincolnshire countryside for all our visitors to enjoy, wildlife and holiday makers alike! We are passionate about conserving our landscape and wildlife, and welcome you to share and enjoy what we have created here on the farm.

Rural Roosts is a family-run affair, with our son, Tom, living on the farm and our eldest daughter Sophie, helping out with marketing and admin in the office. You may also see Tim's Mum, Ann, around the lodge site, looking after the plants and flowers throughout the seasons. Our extended family of animals keeps on growing too; our cocker spaniel, Fin, never strays far from Tim, helping out around the farm with boundless energy and enthusiasm. Our beautiful labrador, Betty, can usually be found keeping Katie company in the office.

We have a fantastic housekeeping team, who work very hard to maintain our high standards of cleanliness during changeover days, as well as a wonderful grounds keeper who maintains the site and takes care of the hot tubs year round. Our team do their utmost to ensure you have a relaxing stay with us here at Rural Roosts.
