This is a fabulous course to learn outdoor first aid skills.... although it does worry me how many "incidents" happen on our farm that weekend 🤣🤣🤣

Wednesday Wows

The early blackcurrants are now ripe and ready for harvesting. These beautiful black gems will end up in blackcurrant jam and blackcurrant jelly.

The best way to harvest them also prunes the bush - the fruit grows on old wood, so we simply cut out the whole branch they are growing on, from the base. This leaves new young growth which provides us with next year's crops.
