Well, it turns out we’ve been living a lie… 😂🐾

Sylvester came in yesterday for his regular de-shed, and as always, he was in his happy place, either falling asleep on the grooming table or requesting belly rubs! Honestly, I think he comes for the spa experience more than the de-shed. 🤣💕

We’ve always thought this handsome boy was a Husky… but his family recently had a DNA test done, and surprise! Not a trace of Husky in sight! 😱 Turns out he’s actually part Malamute!

Whatever his DNA says, one thing’s for certain, Sylvester is 100% gorgeous and an absolute joy to groom. ❤️

I absolutely love my job, but every now and then there’s a moment that reminds me exactly why I do what I do… and today was one of those moments. 🥹🐾

Please meet gorgeous little Mabel, who came in for her very first mini groom! 💕

Today was all about building confidence. We had plenty of time for cuddles and play while she explored all the new sights, sounds and smells of the salon, before introducing her to bathing and drying.

Mabel was an absolute superstar from start to finish… in fact, she was so relaxed she almost fell asleep on the grooming table! 🥹

I think it’s safe to say she stole all of our hearts… even Mr Barking Pawfect was trying to convince me we should keep her! 😂❤️
